SKYMAPPER INC. & LYAA Partnership

We are proud to announce the collaborative partnership between Light-Year Astronomical Association and Skymapper Inc!

In this partnership we maintain the goals to make astronomy accessible to all! No matter the background, origin, or community.

We love what Franck Marchis and his team are doing at Skymapper and we are honored to be able to contribute in this dynamic with Skymapper through the use of the Light-Year Mobile Observatory Initiative and Skymapper's technology known as the SkyBridge.

We strive to make the sky available to all. To democratize astronomy, astrophysics, and STEM Education. No matter if you live in an area with light-pollution or do not have the means available to purchase a telescope - We have your back with the Mobile Observatory and through Skymapper's amazing infrastructure.

We are glad to make our telescopes and mobile observatory available to all on SkyMapper through the SkyBridges provided in this collaborative effort.

We have hands on and interactive abilities and programs at our events where we showcase the cosmos, and globally through our live-streams of the cosmos if you aren't available to attend our meetings.

We look forward to all this partnership has to offer between our two efforts to make citizen science and astronomical research and learning available to all!
