Light-Year's Time at Thornton Library in Oxford, NC!

We had a phenomenal time at Thornton Library in Oxford, NC with the great local sci-fi author Faye Peacock Wilson. Faye invited us to the Oxford, NC Library to show a tour of the cosmos while she introduced people to her riveting sci-fi adventure "The Rescue".

Our astronomer Rebekah Leigh Denton (Halley) gave a presentation of intereactive media we have taken with our telescope showing others the ideas behind the Mobile Observatory and future technologies that make Space readily available to all at any time of day.

During this presentation we took you to distant galaxies, starclusters, nebulae, and so on. We are grateful to all the libraries that let us present and also hold events on property. We have even more exciting news coming soon, but for now we would like to say a big "THANK YOU!" to all our supporters, communities, and so on who make everything possible for us to democratize astronomy and STEM education.

Please go support Faye Peacock Wilson, and Light-Year Astronomical Association. Link to Faye's Book "The Rescue":
